High-Frequency Words!
Last semester, the students practiced many vocabulary words! We played games, sang songs, practiced pronunciation and identifying translating words English->Spanish and Spanish->English 🙂
Now, it was time to put that knowledge to the test and the students did a wonderful job engaging their minds to sound out Spanish words phonetically so they can write their new learned Spanish words on paper. It is also important to associate each word they learn with its English translation that way they can better use their first language as a base for learning a new one!
