Pre-Kindergarten is offered for 3 and 4 year olds and is a great opportunity to build the foundation for problem solving in a fun and special environment.  For most, this is the first school experience for children and so it is our goal to ensure that they receive a positive experience while preparing them for Kindergarten.

 

Our three and four-year old students focus on developing social skills, letter and number recognition, phonemic awareness, as well as introductory reading.  Hands-on and Project-Based Learning exercises are emphasized which promote problem solving and understanding outcomes while promoting emergent literacy and math skills.  

 

During STEAM lessons, students are active learners who participate in open-ended activities where they work through the process of defining a problem, brainstorming a possible solution, planning, creating, and improving on their plan.  This process helps prepare them for their futures in fun and innovative ways.
