Tammie Craig

Hello! My name is Tammie Craig and this is my eighth year teaching fourth grade at our wonderful school. I’m honored and blessed to be a part of the BFSMS team, partnering with parents to love, nurture and educate each unique child.

I received my teaching degree from Texas A&M University and taught K-2 for five years with NISD in San Antonio before working at home taking care of our three sons. I have fifteen years of experience teaching all grade levels in our homeschool coops and various church classes.

Spending my day learning and laughing with children fills me with joy! Each day brings new discoveries, challenges, connections, and meaningful discussions. I love to help students discover and develop their God given passions, talents and gifts. It’s my desire for students to see God’s hand in every subject and topic we study.

In our classroom, I work to create an environment where kindness, patience and God’s love are at the center of everything we do. I encourage my students to treat one another with respect, compassion and grace. Together we build a classroom family rooted in faith, love and kindness.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, yoga, photography, exploring nature, and watching or listening to clean comedy. A few of my favorite comedians are Nate Bargatze, Jon Crist and Leann Morgan.
