Tammie Craig

Hello! My name is Tammie Craig and this is my second year at Buckner Fanning School at Mission Springs. I love our wonderful school and feel blessed and honored to be a part of the BFSMS team partnering with parents to love, nurture and educate each unique child. I received my elementary teaching degree from Texas A&M University. I taught K-2nd grade for five years with NISD in San Antonio before working at home taking care of our three sons. I have fifteen years of experience teaching all grade levels in our homeschooling coop and various classes at our church. Teaching is truly a passion for me. I work to engage students in learning through thoughtful, fun, hands-on lessons which include meaningful discussions and small group work. I believe strongly in helping students discover their God given passions, talents and gifts to use according to His purposes and to encourage them to glorify God in all they do, say and think. What a privilege it is to integrate a Christian worldview into every aspect of teaching, guiding children to think critically about the world through the lens of their Christian faith. It’s my desire for students to see God’s hand in every subject and topic we study and discover. I am overjoyed to share and model the love of Christ each day with my precious fourth graders.
