Kim Harris

I am very excited to be teaching third grade at Buckner Fanning School at Mission Springs!

I graduated from Texas A&M University and taught fourth grade for six years before staying home to start a family. While my kids were little, I worked for my church in Garden Ridge.  I was blessed to serve as a preschool teacher for one year, then Preschool Director for four years and Children’s Minister for another two years.  When my youngest was headed to kindergarten, I chose to go back to work full time at my kids’ school where I taught pre-kindergarten for seven years.

Prior, I worked for Comal ISD teaching reading for grades K-5. God has shaped me into the teacher I am today through all the people and experiences He has placed in my path! My passion is partnering with parents to grow children in God’s love and appreciate the uniqueness of all His children!

My husband and I enjoy watching our son, Jackson, play baseball for his select team and are excited as our daughter, Rileigh, enjoys life as a college student.” . I LOVE my two dogs and snuggle with them as often as possible!!!
