Jillian Torres

I've been teaching for 6 years and have a passion for witnessing student growth and infusing lessons with creativity. I hold a degree in Fine Arts with a minor in Art History from UTSA. I have experience working with a diverse group of students and abilities, from Kinder to 8th Grade.

I'm honored to be teaching at BFSMS because of its strong sense of community, dedication to academic excellence, and the supportive culture between families and staff. I am so excited to be part of a team that values creativity, kindness, and high expectations. I'm most excited about building relationships with my students and watching them grow. I love to see the lightbulb moments! 

Outside of school I love spending time with my family and our dog. We love to be outdoors, whether it's attempting to garden, going for walks, or just enjoying nature. I also love crafting, trying new recipes, and listening to podcasts.
