Araceli Hernandez

I am proud to serve as an After School Care Teacher at Buckner Fanning School at Mission Springs. Before joining this role, I gained valuable classroom experience as both a kindergarten teacher and a substitute teacher, each for one year. Each of these experiences deepened my love for working with children and helped shape the nurturing approach I bring to the classroom every day.

Outside of school, I am a wife to a Marine Corps veteran and the mother of three wonderful children. Our family spent a few years stationed in San Diego, California, and we are happy to be back home. When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, making music, or creating art. I love finding joy in the little things and making special memories together.

I believe in fostering a caring and joyful environment where every child feels seen, supported, and valued. My hope is to spread kindness and joy to each of my students while helping them grow both academically and personally.
