Eduardo Escobedo
Spanish Teacher
It is a great joy and blessing to be the Spanish teacher at the Buckner Fanning School at Mission Springs!
I have taught high school Spanish for 18 years, including 5 years at the AP college level.
I have a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix.
I am passionate about teaching using an immersive approach, which is an accelerated and a natural way of learning a new language.
I really enjoy seeing the daily progress of my students when speaking Spanish.
When I am not at Buckner Fanning School, I love to spend time with my beautiful wife and son.
We love playing tennis, walking, exercising, and traveling to Mexico and the United States.
We have lived in San Antonio for 9 years. A fantastic city to raise a family and work!
I also teach in the after school program on Mondays here at BFSMS, and language immersion courses to adults in San Antonio, through Career Language Training.
My goal is to help your children be excited about learning a new language, so they can become fluent in Spanish and have the global skills they need for the 21st century.
