What a pleasure it is to be the librarian at The Buckner Fanning School At Mission Springs! It seems that every week is filled with adventure and excitement and though I never know what the day will bring, I feel truly blessed to be among such delightfully precious humans!

I have been a librarian/teacher for more than 40 years and I believe that the library is the most awesome place in the world.  As an educator, I encourage every child to take refuge in this magical place and to take advantage of all the treasures it has to offer.

When I am not in the library I am spending time with my beautiful family.  I have a sweet husband, two lovely daughters and two fabulous sons-in-law.  I also have a most delightful grandson that already LOVES books and that, of course, makes me so very happy!!  We all love to travel, walk, read and spend time working in our yard.  Our dog Pippa adds much joy to our days by making us laugh and keeping us entertained.

I feel blessed to be a part of the Buckner Fanning School and am so thankful that the BFSMS community has so generously shared their hearts, lives and children with me.
